Elon Musk expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi after their meeting, stating that he was a fan of the prime minister. Musk also conveyed his excitement about India, considering it to be more promising than any other large country.
He revealed his plans to visit India next year and explore potential investments in the country. The conversation between Musk and PM Modi at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel on June 20 was described by Musk as excellent and very good. He expressed: “It was an excellent and a very good conversation,” Musk told the media. “I am planning to visit India next year.”
“I would like to thank the prime minister for his support and hopefully we will be able to announce something in the not so distant future,” Musk said.
“We do not want to jump the gun on an announcement but I think it is quite likely that it will be a significant investment in our relationship with India,” the Tesla CEO said.
During a media interaction, Musk expressed his gratitude to the prime minister for his support and hinted at the possibility of announcing something significant in the near future. While refraining from making premature announcements, Musk expressed confidence in a substantial investment that would strengthen their relationship with India.
