PM Modi to be Honored with France’s Highest Award

For his diplomacy and leadership, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has developed a solid international reputation. His increasing status as a global leader is evidenced by the numerous awards he has received from other nations, the most recent of which was from France. PM Modi has received 14 state honours total.

On July 13, French President Emmanuel Macron presented PM Modi with the nation’s highest medal, the “Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour,” during his two-day visit to France.

At the Elysee Palace in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron presented PM Modi with the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour. The highest military and civilian honour in France is this one. As the first Indian Prime Minister to win this accolade, PM Modi joins other world-famous leaders like Nelson Mandela and Angela Merkel in this exclusive club.

UAE’s Order of Zayed (2019) This top civilian prize of the United Arab Emirates, which was established in honour of its founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, recognised PM Modi’s accomplishments across a variety of sectors. The UAE declared 2019 to be the Year of Tolerance, and PM Modi was honoured.

King Hamad Order of the Renaissance, Bahrain (2019): King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recognised PM Modi’s efforts to advance world peace and a sustainable future while also symbolising the strengthening connections between Bahrain and India.
