In the vicinity of west Delhi’s Dwarka, specifically in Jaffarpur Kalan, a disturbing incident occurred where a man residing in the area is suspected of having murdered his neighbour. The tragic event unfolded on Monday when the attacker, identified as 44-year-old Vinod, fatally stabbed his neighbor, 47-year-old Sunil. This unfortunate act was allegedly driven by Vinod’s suspicion that Sunil had engaged in ‘black magic’ against him.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, another individual who attempted to intervene was also harmed by the same murder weapon. The attacker not only took the life of Sunil but also injured a third party, Rajpal, aged 58, who bravely attempted to save the victim.
Swift action was taken by the authorities, resulting in the prompt arrest of Vinod, who is now in custody. The incident was the culmination of a series of conflicts that had been escalating over time. The roots of the confrontation trace back to a dispute about open defecation on Sunil’s farmland, which had occurred about a week prior to the fatal incident.
Vinod and Sunil had shared the same neighborhood, residing in Surhera village within Jaffarpur Kalan. It’s important to note that Sunil was a farmer by profession.
