Direct-to-consumer (D2C) startup WickedGud revealed on Monday that Shilpa Shetty has invested Rs 2.25 crore in the company. Direct-to-consumer (D2C) startup WickedGud is situated in Mumbai and is officially registered as 100percent Nourishment Pvt Ltd.

Bhuman Dani, the co-founder and CEO of the company, claimed that everyone was aware of Shilpa’s love of food and exercise.

Having her backing will enable us to reach the largest possible audience and deliver healthy, natural meals to them. We are hopeful that her influence would enable us to reach more people and encourage responsible consumption,” Dani added.

The business produces and markets a variety of healthful goods devoid of artificial ingredients including monosodium glutamate (MSG) and maida (flour). These foods are prepared using cutting-edge Steaming and Convection Air Drying (SCAD) technology and natural ingredients including wheat flour, legumes, rice, gramme, oats, and jowar.

Bhuman Dani, Monish Debnath, and Saumya Biswas founded the business in 2021. It has received finance from a number of illustrious companies, including Titan Capital, Mumbai Angels, NB Ventures, Dholakia Ventures, and Venture Catalyst Marquee. Aman Gupta, the co-founder of BOAT, provided funds for it before through Shark Tank India.

The only goal of WickedGud is to “Unjunk” India, and because of its all-natural products, company has grown by 300% in the past year. The grand finale episode of Season 2 of Shark Tank India gave it more exposure.

The business has offices in the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mauritius, and Nepal.
